FSS: A QUALITY SYMBOL

At FSS customer’s safety as well as the high-grade operation of its products constitute a primate role.

We have a quality assurance certificate EN ISO 9001:2000 that gives us the ability to trace and check our offered work and spares at all the stages of maintenance test.

Since 1985, our company deals with recharges, counter check and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire fighting systems, industrial and medical gas cylinders, brewery and diving as well as maintenance and test of detection and fire protection systems.  We always follow a) The current Greek legislation (Ministry of Development 618/42/20.1.2005 ) regarding maintenance, retest and recharge of fire extinguishers, b) the International Standard ISO 11602-2 for inspection and maintenance of portable and mobile trolley fire extinguishers and c) the current European specifications EN3.

At our up-to-date installation at our factory in Schimatari Viotias, with roofed space of 10.000m², we afford:

• A filling-in station for cylinders, extinguishers and extinguishing systems of carbon dioxide – CO₂ – and inert gases N₂ – IG100 – Ar IG541 (Inergen), totally automated for the precise check of the content.
• A filling – in station for dry powder, foam and water extinguishers
• A filling – in station for air, diving cylinders Nitrox & Trimix
• A retesting center of seam extinguishers cylinders, butane and propane, approved by the ministry of Development (No of Approval 4157/17.6/128) and from EBETAM (no of certificate ΚΕ/A-C-054/02.2003).
• Ultra Sonic Test for corrosion.
• Chemical Laboratory’s analysis of gases and row materials.

The equipment used in maintenance is of German, Swedish and Swiss origing, totally automated, guaranteeing the precision of the measurements for customer’s safety.
